Meet Our Medical Director
Dr. Edgar Ballenas, M.D., directs and prescribes all medical treatments performed at ChicMed Laser & Esthetic Center.
Dr. Ballenas graduated from New York Medical College, and completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center/ Mount Sinai in New York City. He became board certified in Emergency Medicine in 1994 and continues to practice at Jordan’s hospital in Plymouth, MA. Dr. Ballenas has been certified in medical esthetics since 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic physicians. He offers treatments such as laser hair reduction, photo skin rejuvenation and removal of pigmented and fine vascular lesions. Dr. Ballenas is also certified in laser lipolysis for body sculpting, treatment of lipomas, cellulite, and stretch marks.

- September 2008: Completion of Laser Liposuction Workshop Center for Smartlipo in Langhorne, PA
