Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion works best for anyone looking to revitalize their skin. How does Microdermabrasion work?

Microdermabrasion is a method of exfoliation in which medical grade microcrystals are deposited onto the surface of the skin using a mechanical wand. The combination of crystals and suction from the hand-piece remove the outermost layer of dead cells resulting in a noticeably softer, more rejuvenated appearance. A typical session can last anywhere from 20-30 minutes, has little to no downtime and is effective for all skin types and colors. As with most non-invasive procedures, a series of treatments is recommended to achieve optimal results. However, skin will be noticeably smoother after just one session. Microdermabrasion can be performed to enhance the result of another treatment method such as Photo Rejuvenation “Photofacial”, Skin Tightening and Chemical Peels or alone to keep the skin clean of debris and to prevent premature aging. The vacuum pressure and speed can be adjusted depending on the sensitivity and tolerance of the skin.
